on weather

The weather here in Melbourne is really… interesting. I had been told that “four seasons in a day” is a common occurrence, but I did not really want to believe it at the time.

I have since learned differently.

I’ve had days that started with rainy and (comparatively) cold weather, only for the clouds to disappear, the sun come out and the temperature raise by more than 10 degrees. It really is crazy here and you need to be prepared for anything.

Cloudy skies, with a chance of rain. Oh well.

One hour later: blue skies, sun's out and the temperature is raising quickly,.

And, in the evening, we're back to rain. What is going on here?
