Update: Social media challenge

Okay, I admit, I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to statistics. I can not help it that I like to look at them. So when I discovered that it is possible to put a flag counter on your blog, I immediately implemented that. Since then we have received viewers from 82 149 different countries! Now that is interesting, even if you do not like statistics, right?

Then I found this button that said ‘missing countries‘. When I clicked on it it tells me that there are still 159 92 countries where people have not opened our Blog. Wow, I did not even know there were that many countries. Now these 159 94 countries fascinate me. How do we get people in those countries to look at our blog, even if it was just one page?

You can help me!

So if you know someone who knows someone from our missing country list, then could you please forward our blog to this person and ask then to visit it?

At the end of this post you find share buttons, even for Skype, Telegram and WhatsApp. Do not forget to add a personal message, otherwise the person you are sending it to has no idea why you are sending the link.

I am curious what the power of social media is and see if in this way I can reach people from these countries through you.

It would be great if we could manage to have our blog opened in all countries!

  1. Hi , I thought so, but wasn´t sure 🙂 No traveling plans except Sweden in December, And Sweden is already on you list 🙂 There is so much to see here in Australia, I don´t know where to start haha. We will do some traveling here when our girls comes to visit us in July. Probably to Sidney and Great ocean road. Do you have any ideas what is nice to see with one ten year old and two girls 18 and 20? 🙂

    1. Hi Anette, you are an Australian viewer now. It depends where your server is, normally this is also in the country where you are (with some exceptions). So if you travel somewhere to one of the countries on our list and you open our log there you are most likely seen as a visitor from that country. Any travel plans yet, or are you busy settling down here in Melbourne?
